Ch. 01

The Basics

01

What is DeepWater Sim?

A way to test your message before you pitch it. We simulate the people your message has to win over: buyers, competitors, and stakeholders, each with their own goals and doubts. You see how your message, positioning, or pitch lands before you commit to it.

Think of it as a wind tunnel for your message. You point it at a pitch, and it tells you where the turbulence is.

02

Who is this built for?

Revenue leaders (CROs, CEOs, and VPs) at Series B to D SaaS companies with a pitch, a repositioning, or a big announcement coming up. Product marketing and RevOps teams use it too. If you've ever walked into a board meeting hoping the new pitch would land, this is for you.

03

How is this different from a survey or focus group?

Surveys ask a few real people once. Focus groups surface the loudest voice in the room. We simulate dozens of distinct personas across multiple rounds of deliberation, so you see how opinions shift, where dissent emerges, and which segments quietly push back. In minutes, not weeks.

04

Do I need to install anything?

No. Sign up, confirm your company, add your message, and run your first simulation in the browser. Power users can reach the same engine through our CLI or programmatic API once they're comfortable.

Ch. 02

Running a Simulation

01

How long does a simulation take?

Most finish in two to ten minutes. Agent count, round count, and model selection all move the needle. You'll see live progress as the buyers deliberate. No staring at a spinner wondering if it's alive.

02

How many agents should I run?

Start with the suggested buyer panel. Add buyer types when you need to explore a different role, concern, or buying situation. More simulated buyers do not guarantee more accurate results. Check the estimated credit cost before you run.

03

What does it need from me?

Your first run has three steps:

  1. Confirm your company name and website.
  2. Name your simulation and add the message you want buyers to react to.
  3. Review the buyer panel and estimated credit cost, then run it.

You can add your own buyer personas, competitor information, and supporting documents later. They are not required for your first run.

04

Can I bring my own personas?

Yes. Build them from scratch, copy and edit our defaults, or upload a CSV. Personas live at the workspace level, so one well-crafted persona set can power dozens of simulations.

05

What does a single run cost?

Every simulation shows an estimated cost before you click launch. You set a budget cap per project; we will not exceed it. No surprise invoices.

Ch. 03

Results & Reports

01

What do I actually get at the end?

A report. Predicted outcome, stance shifts across rounds, dissenting voices, surfaced objections, and direct quotes from the agents who pushed back. Shareable via link, exportable to PDF, diffable against other runs.

02

How accurate is it really?

Directional, not deterministic. Simulations are built to surface blind spots, objections, and segment splits you'd otherwise miss. They don't replace customer conversations. Treat them like a strong pre-mortem, not a crystal ball. Output is AI-generated; validate before betting the quarter on it.

03

Can I re-run a simulation with tweaks?

Yes. Duplicate any settled simulation, adjust inputs, and compare the reports side by side. A/B testing without touching production.

Ch. 04

Data & Privacy

01

Is my data used to train models?

No. Your projects, documents, and simulations are yours. We do not use Customer Content to train, retrain, or fine-tune foundation models. We transmit data under zero-data-retention terms with our LLM providers wherever the provider supports it.

02

Where is my data stored?

In managed Supabase infrastructure (Postgres + encrypted storage). Row-level security enforces that only you and collaborators you explicitly invite can read your projects. PII is stripped from simulation inputs before they leave our perimeter.

03

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Projects, individual simulations, or your entire account are all deletable from settings. GDPR and CCPA aligned.

Ch. 05

Plans & Billing

01

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Sign up and we'll seed your account with enough credit to run your first few simulations. No card required up front.

02

How does pricing work?

You pay for the compute behind simulation runs. Agent count, rounds, and underlying model usage all factor in. Project-level budget caps keep spend predictable. Full details on the pricing page.

Getting Help

01

I’m stuck. Where do I turn?

The help button in the bottom-right of any authenticated page opens contextual guidance for whatever screen you're on. If that doesn't land it, email support@revenueraccoon.app. A human reads every message.

02

How do I know if something’s broken?

Live system status, incident history, and component health are always on the status page.
